We were delighted to meet with Dale O’Brien Walsh and congratulate him in person on winning the Graduate.ie online competition, for which the Assembly sponsored the prize.
As the competition winner, Dale has secured an exciting trip to the European Parliament in Strasbourg next year. During his visit, he will have the opportunity to learn more about how the European Union operates and experience European democracy in action.
A student at Coláiste Cois Siúire, Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny, Dale impressed with his knowledge and interest in European affairs. His success reflects his enthusiasm for engaging with issues that matter to young people across Europe and highlights the importance of encouraging active citizenship among the next generation.
