Tackling Brain Drain

TALENT4S3 – Retention and attraction of TALENT for a better deployment of Smart Specialisation Strategies – addresses one of the most pressing challenges in the European Union: brain drain and regional depopulation. The goal is to foster an environment where talented individuals choose to stay and contribute to their local economies rather than move due to lack of opportunities.

The objectives of the project are to:

01 – Enhance Talent Retention and Attraction: TALENT4S3 aims to improve policies to retain and attract highly skilled professionals across EU regions. This is crucial for balancing regional development and offering equal opportunities to all citizens.
02 – Deploy Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3): By focusing on the unique strengths of each region, these strategies help combat the loss of skilled labour and ensure sustainable economic growth.
