Our role is integral to the Southern Region, where we advocate for our community and environment through our policies, programs, and initiatives. We use best practices to drive balanced, sustainable development and make a real difference. 

Our efforts enhance sustainability and competitiveness, strengthen ties with other regions, and align with European standards. We lead regional development through effective spatial planning and growth-oriented EU programs, supported by our stakeholders. 

Regional and Spatial Planning

We connect local and national goals through regional, spatial, and economic planning initiatives, including RSES implementation.

ERDF Regional Programmes

We manage Regional Programmes supporting innovation, SMEs, energy efficiency, and sustainable urban growth with €663 million invested.

EU Programmes

We host the National Contact Points for Interreg North West Europe and Interreg Europe and are FLC for Irish ETC project partners.
