European Mosaic Irish Citizen Dialogue on the Next EU Long Term Budget 2

Upcoming Irish Citizen Dialogue on the Next EU Long-Term Budget

How should the European Union invest in its future? European Movement Ireland is inviting members of the public to take part in a national dialogue on the EU’s next long-term budget, known as the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF).

This event is part of the MOSAIC project, which aims to encourage conversations between citizens about the future of the EU and how its budget supports policies and priorities across Europe. The discussion will explore what the next EU budget should focus on and give participants the opportunity to share their views on the issues they believe should receive greater investment.

The dialogue will take place on 7 September at The Alex Hotel, Dublin, bringing together people from different backgrounds to discuss the future of EU funding and its impact on communities in Ireland and across Europe.

Date: Monday, 7th September 2026
Time: 9:00–13:30
Venue:The Alex Hotel, D2
